Waimataitai Kindergarten takes the stage!

Recently Waimataitai kindergarten had a fantastic and successful day at the Korohi o te pepi.  Kaiako were so proud of all tamariki that performed in front of lots of other kindergartens, preschools, and all their whanau.  Tamariki had been practicing our wonderful waiata with Matua John and Whare Makere for a long time now and on the day, it showed as they sung with great joy and proudness up on stage.

It was an action-packed day for tamariki as they walked down to the bay, had some kai under the trees, and they were lucky enough to watch some other centres perform before Waimataitai’s turn.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to all the parents and whānau that gave up their time to join us.   We would also love to say a big thank you to Sarah and Nick, and the Warehouse, who supported us in getting our awesome black t-shirts, and to 1st Impressions who did an amazing job in sponsoring us towards printing our name and logos on them for us.  The tamariki looked fantastic in these!
